Location Information
The Forks is located at the historical site where the Red and Assiniboine Rivers meet, on Forks Market Road in the heart of Winnipeg. This beautiful and popular site is home to the Winnipeg International Children’s Festival and lets us enjoy the beautiful outdoors right here in downtown Winnipeg. You can enter The Forks from several different points, such as Forks Market Road, York Avenue, or Waterfront Drive.
The festival grounds at The Forks are perfect for families; onsite washrooms, refreshments, and merchandise stands are scattered among the performance and activity venues. Please see the Map to view the details of the site and On Site Services to see a more detailed list of available amenities.
The performances and activities for the festival will be housed in several feature tents on the festival grounds, as well as on two stages at the Manitoba Theatre for Young People.
