2021 KIDSFEST DRIVE IN SAFETY PROTOCOLS

The Winnipeg International Children’s Festival aka Kidsfest is committed to the health and wellness of our guests, staff and performers. The safety of our Kidsfest family is always our number one consideration. In these challenging times we have been working with our partners in Public Health and Education to ensure that we can present the Kidsfest in a safe and comfortable manner while complying with all public health regulations. To make that happen, we have established the following safety guidelines and protocols so we can all come together and enjoy the best Kidsfest ever!

  • Each vehicle to be a single household
  • Audience members are to remain in their vehicle space at all times unless utilizing the washrooms or in line at a mobile food truck
  • Maintain social distance while in line
  • Washroom facilities will be sanitized regularly
  • Audience members will be required to wear masks while utilizing the washrooms or in a food truck line
  • Children under 5 will not be required to wear masks
  • Masks will be worn by all Festival volunteers, staff and by all artists whenever social distancing is not possible
  • There will be no physical contact between artists and audiences
  • Multiple hand sanitizing stations will be provided throughout the site
  • All Kidsfest ticket sales will be either on-line or by mail
